XKE Series 1 4.2 Engine Parts

Here's a view of a XK engine most Jaguar owners rarely get to see: a squeaky-clean bottom end and oil pan! This is an XKE Series 1, 4.2 engine getting the full rebuild treatment. 

Wanted to show just how nicely the CW Rebuild guys prep the parts that go into their rebuilt XK engines. Three hours after this pic was taken, the oil pan and the already-rebuilt cylinder head had been installed and Chris Englehorn was tending to the final details.

He'll probably have it finished tomorrow, and that would be a good thing, as there are three more XK engine waiting to be bolted to this engine stand
